Ilona Vincze-Kraus
1902-1998 Pianist. Born in Budapest, daughter of Austrian parents, she studied piano at the Royal Academy of Music in Budapest. In 1923 she won the Liszt award and gave concert recitals all over Europe.
Ilona Vincze-Kraus fled to Palestine in 1936 together with her husband and son. Professor at the Palestine Conservatoire Jerusalem until 1947, later at the Academy of Music in Tel-Aviv.
Ilona Vincze-Kraus was one of the most important piano teachers in Israel. Among her students are many well-known pianists. return to the list of the musicians
